The 30-man shortlist for the 2026 Ballon d'Or has been announced, with Barcelona's captain and vice-captain, Raphinha and Pedri, missing out.

Last season, Raphinha made 33 appearances, scoring 21 goals and providing 8 assists, helping Barcelona win La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup.

Pedri helped Spain win the European Championship, and last season contributed 2 goals and 12 assists for Barcelona, winning two trophies.

In the 2025 Ballon d'Or voting, Raphinha finished fifth, while Pedri placed 11th.
