According to "The Rest Is Football," Alan Shearer believes Barcelona will win this season's Champions League, predicting they will beat Arsenal in the final.

Raphinha scored twice in Barcelona's 5-1 victory over Feyenoord on Wednesday. Barcelona made a strong start in the new Champions League season, defeating Feyenoord 5-1 at home. Arsenal, meanwhile, edged out Napoli 1-0 thanks to an Odegaard goal.

Mikel Arteta's side lost to Paris Saint-Germain in the penalty shootout in last season's Champions League final, and Shearer believes Arsenal will still come very close to winning the trophy this season.

Gary Lineker said on the show, "Both teams should probably be among the favorites, with Arsenal included as well, but Barcelona looks particularly strong right now."

Shearer replied, "Obviously it all depends on the draw, but I'm still picking Barcelona to win it. They'll beat Arsenal in the final. If they can win it a third time—three consecutive trophies—that would be incredible, so I'm picking Barcelona."

Lineker added, "We can't all pick Barcelona. I fancy Barcelona this season; I think they deserve one. I don't think Paris Saint-Germain will win it this season. I think it will come down to Barcelona and Arsenal in the end."

Meanwhile, Micah Richards fancies Paris Saint-Germain to win the Champions League for the third consecutive season. He said, "Don't rule out Real Madrid. In a one-off game, whether it's tactics, players, or confidence, I wouldn't rule out Real Madrid. If I had to pick one, I'd pick Paris Saint-Germain, simply because they can rotate players throughout the season, which is a huge advantage."
