Alexis Sanchez enjoyed a meal out at an Italian restaurant with his family and friends a day after being axed from Manchester United's starting XI for their FA Cup quarter-final against Brighton.

The Chile star was spotted coming out of Cibo, a Cheshire-based restaurant that specializes in Italian cuisine, with his friend on Sunday.
Sanchez was dressed in black jeans, a grey top, long black coat and a black hat.

After dining out at the Italian restaurant - which sells £350 bottles of wine - the 29-year-old returned to his car where his beloved dogs Atom and Humber were waiting for him.
Sanchez has endured a difficult time since joining United back in January, and has scored just once in 10 games across all competitions.
His recent poor form culminated in Jose Mourinho dropping him to the bench on Saturday as United beat Brighton 2-0 to book their spot in the FA Cup semi-final.
Sergio Romero, who put in a sterling performance in goal at Old Trafford, was also spotted coming out of the same restaurant as Sanchez was later on in the day.

Romero has been used sparingly this season, mainly featuring in cup competitions with David de Gea Mourinho's first choice keeper.
But the Argentinian certainly grasped his opportunity by making a string of important saves to help United see off Brighton with Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic scoring the goals.
United do not have a fixture for two weeks now as they head into the international break.
Sanchez will hook up with the Chile squad in the next coming days as they begin their preparations for friendlies against Sweden and Denmark while Romero will join Argentina's squad ahead of their final fixtures before the World Cup.
