Utrecht had plenty of good news for their fans on Friday with Sander van de Streek signing from Cambuur and Giovanni Troupee extending his contract with the club.

Following on from the signing of striker Cyriel Dessers on Thursday, Utrecht have confirmed the capture of midfielder Sander van de Streek from Cambuur.

The 24-year-old had a fantastic campaign in Leeuwarden, scoring 22 times in 33 Eerste Divisie matches as Cambuur just missed out on promotion. He signs as a possible replacement for Sofyan Amrabat, who is wanted by Eredivisie champions Feyenoord.

One man who wont be leaving Utrecht this summer is right-back Giovanni Troupee, who has signed a new contract with the club until 2021. The 19-year-old has been a key man for Erik ten Hag’s side and was gaining interest from PSV and Feyenoord.
