Waasland-Beveren coach Adnan Custovic has accused Genk of deliberately destabilizing Nana Ampomah during the transfer window.

Ampomah was linked with the current Belgian champions before the winter window shut last Thursday.

The 23-year-old was reported to be on the wish list of Philippe Clement who coached him at Beveren.

"They have tried to influence and destabilize my player. I do not think that's fair play, and that's creeping into mind anyway," Custovic said.

Ampomah has scored seven goals in 21 league appearances this term.
