Bulgarian Nikola Popov will be the referee for Milan’s Europa League preliminary round tie with Craiova on Thursday.

The first leg ended 1-0 in Romania last week thanks to a Ricardo Rodriguez free kick.

The decider is at San Siro this Thursday and Milan are close to a sell-out with almost 60,000 tickets gone.

UEFA have assigned referee Popov to the game.

He will be aided by Georgi Todorov, Martin Venev and fourth official Stanislav Todorov – all from Bulgaria.
