Manchester Evening News reports that despite Italian media claiming Manchester United's midfielder Mount has been offered to AC Milan, there has been no contact between AC Milan and Mount's representatives.

Former Manchester United manager Amorim recently took charge at AC Milan. During his time at Old Trafford, Amorim greatly admired Mount, but the 27-year-old midfielder is likely to remain at Manchester United.

Those close to Mount expressed surprise at reports from last weekend claiming he had been offered to AC Milan. Manchester United players have yet to return to Carrington for pre-season preparation, and Mount is currently training individually with a personal coach in Spain, eager for a strong start to the new season.
