Ahead of Ivory Coast's FIFA World Cup round-of-16 match against Norway, Jan-Diomande attended a press conference and was asked about transfer rumors surrounding him.

Earlier, reports claimed that if he leaves RB Leipzig, Jan-Diomande would only consider joining PSG, and he had allegedly already agreed a five-year contract with the Parisian club, to be signed after the FIFA World Cup.

When asked about this, he said: "You're giving me inside information. I don't have the internet—as I've said, I don't have social media or short-form video apps, specifically to avoid this kind of thing."

"As for discussions with clubs, my agent handles that. I don't have any updates, and I don't want to talk about it, even with my agent, because playing at the FIFA World Cup is an opportunity."

"The World Cup only comes around every four years, so I want to enjoy it. That's why I'm going to keep focusing on making history with my country and performing at my best."
