The headline arrival is Samuel Agu from Enyimba, one of Nigerian football's most prominent clubs, who signed on August 4 alongside Mustapha Jawad from Bayelsa United. Agu's move across the league is the kind of capture that signals genuine ambition — players do not leave Enyimba for a club that is merely treading water — and his presence sharpens competition in the forward areas immediately. Pillars were equally shrewd in the free-transfer market, landing four players at no direct cost.
