Brighton & Hove Albion CEO and Deputy Chairman Paul Barber was asked about Carlos Baleba during an interview with talkSPORT today.

When asked if Baleba would join Manchester United, Barber said: "That's something I can't talk about at the moment.

"At this time of year, we receive offers for players in our squad. For offers that are reasonable and in line with our interests economically and financially, we will always be open.

"But at the same time, we must also ensure that the squad is strong enough to compete in all competitions, including tonight's (Europa Conference League) match.

"So there's nothing to say about Carlos at the moment. He's an extremely talented young midfielder who has performed very well for us and has been attracting interest from some of the world's top clubs for the past two years. Let's see what happens next."
