On August 28th, according to Italian Sky Sports journalist Luca Bendoni, Inter youngster Kamate is close to a transfer to Atletico Madrid.

Luca Bendoni's report states that Atletico Madrid is close to signing 22-year-old Kamate from Inter on a permanent transfer and plans to initially integrate the young French player into their B team.

The report further states that Inter intends to include a buy-back clause in the deal and is currently negotiating with Atletico Madrid over the provision.

Kamate joined Inter’s youth academy in 2020. Last season, he made his first-team debut for Inter and provided one assist. Additionally, he made 35 appearances for Inter U23 in Serie C, contributing seven goals and one assist.
