On August 29, Cypriot club AEL Limassol officially announced that 36-year-old Montenegrin forward Stevan Jovetic has joined the team, with both parties signing a contract valid until 2028.

Jovetic was born on November 2, 1989. He rose to prominence early in his career at Partizan Belgrade before moving to Serie A, where he made a name for himself at Fiorentina and attracted widespread attention in European football.
During his career, Jovetic has also played for Manchester City, Sevilla, Monaco, and Hertha Berlin, accumulating extensive experience in top-tier leagues and European competitions. He has consistently represented the Montenegro national team and is considered one of the most important players in the country's football history.
Now Jovetic has chosen to join Cypriot club AEL Limassol to continue his professional career. The club officially welcomed the Montenegrin veteran and expressed their hope that he will continue to write his legendary football story in the yellow and blue jersey.
