Pinamonti made his debut at the press conference, having previously made his league debut against Genoa and nearly scoring. He spoke about his expectations for the move to Rome, and what it means for his career: from scoring in double figures, to taking over the mantle left by Immobile, to the dream of wearing the national team jersey.

"Lazio, how long I've waited for you"
In the press conference session dedicated to himself, Pinamonti spoke about his feelings when joining Lazio: "I waited a long time to finally come here. Now I'm enjoying the first few days with the team, and I'm adapting well. This is a historic and very important club, so my choice was very clear. Of course, I can feel the club's trust in me, not just because I am the only center forward. Trust is important because it makes players feel responsible for reciprocating."
The legacy left by Immobile and a turning point in life
From a personal perspective, Pinamonti does not hide that this is a qualitative leap: "This is a turning point in my career. I am 27 years old, and now is the time to figure out which path to take. It is also an incentive to join after a great player like Immobile. He has made history for Lazio and Italian football, which gives me more motivation and drive. I am a very ambitious player, and scoring in double figures is my goal."
