Werder Bremen officially announced that 19-year-old Jović will leave the club and join 2. Bundesliga side Dynamo Dresden on loan until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Peter Niemeyer, head of professional football at Werder Bremen, said: "We have absolute confidence in Jović. However, we also have a responsibility to consider the development path that is best for his growth. At this stage, he needs to gain regular playing time in top-level matches. Therefore, we jointly decided with him to send him on loan. Dresden can provide an excellent development environment for him to take the next step. We will continue to support his development."

Jović joined Werder Bremen's youth academy from Hertha Berlin in 2024. In 2025, he won the German Youth Cup with Werder Bremen's U19 side and made his first-team debut in August, appearing in both the DFB-Pokal and Bundesliga.

To date, Jović has made 16 appearances and scored 1 goal for Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.

After joining Dynamo Dresden on loan, the 19-year-old forward will have more opportunities to play in top-level matches and continue gaining professional football experience.
