On September 8, Lazio Football Club officially announced that Diogo Filipe Monteiro Pinto Leite has joined the team.

The player's contract with Union Berlin expired on June 30, 2024, after which he became a free agent. Lazio has signed a two-year contract with Leite, with an option to extend for two additional seasons.

Leite, 27, plays as a center-back and joins Lazio as a free agent for the new season.
