Corriere dello Sport wrote: "Thuram is still searching for his best form. The French player scored against Napoli and is fully capable of maintaining more consistent goal contributions. This is the consistency he is currently lacking. Pio Esposito and Bonny also need to work toward this objective: the team's ambitions have increased this season, and expectations for them have risen accordingly."

Corriere dello Sport also stated: "Whether certain goals can be achieved also depends on how many goals they can contribute throughout the season."
