According to official Borussia Dortmund news, eight people, including second team assistant coach Schmelzer and players Göbel and Anning, have left the team.

Defenders Leroy Kwadwo, Patrick Göbel, Jonas Feddersen, Prince Aning, and attacking players Nick Gnaase and Babis Drakas will leave Borussia Dortmund on June 30, 2026.

Additionally, assistant coach Marcel Schmelzer and physiotherapist Daniel Ziolinski will leave the coaching and support staff at the end of the season due to personal reasons.
