According to Football.London, Ødegaard will miss Arsenal's match against Betis, but he may play for Arsenal against Borussia Dortmund next weekend.

Ødegaard reached the quarterfinals of the World Cup with Norway, and was then knocked out by his English teammates.
After players were given a three-week holiday, Ødegaard has missed Arsenal's first two pre-season matches, including a behind-closed-doors friendly against Milton Keynes and the first official match against Girona in Spain. It now appears he will also regrettably miss Wednesday's match against Betis in Dublin, and will rejoin his teammates when the team returns to London.
Ødegaard missed most of last season due to multiple shoulder and knee injuries. Eze filled in for the captain for most of the second half of the season before Ødegaard regained his form.
His performance at the World Cup helped him prepare for the new season, despite rumors of his departure earlier in the window. Football.London previously denied claims of an agreement with Galatasaray and stated that the player is happy at the club and is expected to begin contract extension talks soon.
Ødegaard's return this week means he may get some playing time in Sunday's match against Borussia Dortmund. A more likely return time would be next Wednesday against Como.
Football.London understands that Saka will also return to the squad after Ødegaard's return."
