According to news released earlier today on social media by transfer journalist Romano, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain have opened official club-to-club negotiations for Barcola.

Romano stated that Liverpool's initial offer was worth over 100 million euros, but there is still a significant gap with Paris Saint-Germain's asking price, though negotiations are ongoing.

Romano also stated that Barcola wants to join Liverpool, a fact he exclusively revealed since May.
