As a former Newcastle United player, Kevin Nolan believes his old club's lack of new signings this summer, who have already proven themselves in the Premier League, could cost the team.

After selling Anthony Gordon and Tonali for high prices, Newcastle United successively signed young players such as Bazumana Toure, Bamba, Holnicek, Stoel, and Ivan Djavan.
Speaking about his former club's signings, Nolan said: "For me, the most crucial point is that many of the lads who have come in don't have Premier League experience, and I think that's always an issue. If you have too many of those, sometimes it can come back to bite you."
"So I think over the next few weeks, we're hoping to see the club bring in some more players to help these young lads adapt to the best league in the world as quickly as possible."
"You can only do that when you have that experience and play in that environment week in and week out."
"As I've said on the show before, when these lads come from Holland, Germany, Spain, and France, they all find it very difficult because the intensity and mentality are different here."
"You have to know what to do and keep pushing, which is something they are completely unaccustomed to."
