According to Argentine newspaper Olé, the Argentine Football Association will appeal a series of disciplinary sanctions imposed by FIFA.

The Argentine Football Association will request FIFA’s reasoning behind the disciplinary decisions before appealing to the FIFA Appeal Committee, with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) as a final recourse. According to Olé, Argentina’s defense will focus on reducing the suspensions handed to Paredes and Molina. FIFA previously announced that Paredes received a 10-match ban and Molina received a 7-match ban.
