After the match, Cucurella said in an interview that he could clearly feel Vinicius was "completely focused" and specifically highlighted Vinicius's significant contributions defensively.

This was Cucurella's debut at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium as a Real Madrid player. Discussing his new teammate Vinicius, he revealed that head coach Carlo Ancelotti had asked Vinicius, like the other players, to contribute more defensively. In the match, the Brazilian star met the coach's demands, delivering strong performances in both attack and defense to help secure the home victory.

"Our training is going very well, and the long season has just begun. In my opinion, our coach is excellent at leading the team—that's his greatest strength.
