Ipswich Town are close to agreeing a loan deal with Aston Villa for striker Tammy Abraham.

There is uncertainty around the 28-year-old's future, with Villa pursuing new strikers. 

They have agreed a deal for Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson and have made approaches for Crystal Palace's Jean-Philippe Mateta and Bayer Leverkusen's Christian Kofane.

Ipswich are looking to strengthen several positions before the deadline, with other players possibly leaving.
