According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid has agreed to sign 19-year-old Racing Santander center-back Sergio Martinez for €3 million.

Romano stated that Real Madrid has reached an agreement with Racing Santander to acquire the 19-year-old center-back. Martinez will join Real Madrid immediately without being loaned back to Racing Santander. His contract runs until June 2030, with the deal valued at €3 million.

Romano also noted that the defender turned down offers from clubs in England, Germany, and Saudi Arabia to join Real Madrid.
