On August 29, UAE club Al Jazira officially announced the signing of Albanian midfielder Kristjan Asllani from Internazionale on loan.

The 24-year-old made 99 official appearances for Inter, contributing 4 goals and 5 assists. Last season, he had loan spells at Torino and Besiktas, making a combined 33 appearances with 2 goals and 2 assists.

Asllani will wear the number 23 shirt for Al Jazira in the upcoming season as an Albanian international.
