Officially announced: AC Milan striker Rafael Leao has transferred to Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray for a reported fee of 45 million euros.

Milan stated in an official announcement: "AC Milan announces the permanent transfer of Rafael Leao to Galatasaray Sports Club. The club thanks Rafa for the professionalism and passion he has shown in a Milan shirt over the past seven seasons, making a huge contribution to the team winning the Serie A title in the 2021/22 season and the Coppa Italia in 2024. We wish Rafa all the best in this new chapter of his career, both in his personal life and professionally."

Leao joined Milan from Lille in 2019. To date, he has made 291 appearances for Milan, scoring 80 goals and providing 65 assists, helping Milan win one Serie A title and one Coppa Italia title. He has also won one Italian Player of the Year award and one Season's Best Player award.

The transfer fee was confirmed at 45 million euros.
