According to the latest report from "Sport", the release clause in Hamza's contract with Barcelona is only €15 million. Therefore, Flick has deliberately kept the player from playing before the transfer window closed to prevent him from being poached.

Reportedly, the release clause in Hamza Abdulkarim's contract with Barcelona is just €15 million, an unusually low figure compared to the financial resources of top European clubs, particularly those in the Premier League.

Flick has deliberately withheld the player from matches, a decision made in consensus with Deco. The club did not want to risk exposing the explosive form Hamza showed during preseason while the transfer window remained open.

After the transfer window closes, Barcelona will have more time to address the matter, and a long-planned contract extension can be implemented. This plan was delayed due to the pressure of the final days before the deadline.

Barcelona's plan is to significantly raise the release clause to €150 million, roughly 900% higher than the original figure. This new clause will also allow Hamza to earn more first-team opportunities if Flick deems him ready.

Additionally, according to Egyptian media outlet WinWin, if Hamza makes 5 official appearances for Barcelona's first team, playing at least 45 minutes in each match, Al Ahly will receive a €750,000 bonus.

Depending on his appearances, this bonus could increase up to €2 million. Furthermore, if Hamza scores 5 goals, Al Ahly will receive an additional €300,000 bonus, which could also increase incrementally to €1.5 million.

If all conditions tied to the €1.5 million fixed transfer fee are met, the total package could reach €5 million, bringing the combined fee to €6.5 million. However, if his performances meet expectations, this additional cost will likely be justified.
