Roy Keane expressed concerns about Manchester United's reported interest in Lewis Hall, arguing that the Newcastle star is not the "right answer" for the left-back position. Additionally, reports suggest that Man Utd negotiated to sign Ait-Nouri on the final day, prompting Keane to bluntly state that a club like Man Utd should not panic with only two hours remaining in the summer transfer window.

"With only two hours left in the transfer window, suddenly rushing to pursue Rayan Ait-Nouri — isn't that a bit hasty? It doesn't look right, does it?" former Manchester United and England right-back Gary Neville questioned in the latest episode.
"Throughout the summer, everyone talked about left-back and centre-back, and then suddenly there are only two hours left to make a last-minute effort."
As Neville's former teammate and club captain, Keane described Man Utd's last-minute attempt to sign Ait-Nouri on the final day as a "desperate" action.
"You can see they're panicking, they're really desperate," the Manchester United legend and former captain said.
Carrick praised Man Utd for withstanding the pressure and securing a resounding 5-2 victory over Ipswich.
"A club like Man Utd shouldn't find themselves in a position where they're struggling with only two hours left in the transfer window.
That said, there have been many odd last-minute deals throughout football history that have worked out well, not just for Man Utd but for the entire industry. So I won't be too critical of them, but the problem is that when you're pushed to the limit at the end of the transfer window, you're prone to making mistakes."
On Man Utd's interest in Hall, Keane said: "I don't think Hall is the right answer. Don't get me wrong, he's not a bad player.
But I don't think he's a good defender.
That goes back to the old cliché: what is the primary criterion when we select full-backs these days?
"Of course, you want defenders comfortable on the ball, but the key prerequisite is that they must be capable defenders. That's the most pressing issue we need to address right now.
Attacking players can play freely, 'Lads, two midfielders plus four forwards, go and win the match,' but the defence must be solid, even if that means sacrificing some ball control and passing ability."
