According to ANSA, new Lazio signing Diogo Leite has arrived in Rome and will undergo a medical examination and sign his contract tomorrow.

Shortly after September 6th, Diogo Filipe Monteiro Pinto Leite arrived in Rome on a Wizz Air flight from Porto. Leite has played in the Bundesliga since 2022 and is now a free agent after his contract with Union Berlin expired. The 27-year-old Portuguese defender, wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts, was accompanied by his father, agent, and girlfriend to Rome.

A Lazio representative and several Italian National Police officers were present to greet Leite and escort him to a waiting van outside the airport. Leite will have free time in Rome today, undergo a medical examination tomorrow morning, and then officially sign his contract.
