In the Belgian Pro League Round 6 match between Club Brugge and Royal Antwerp, 37-year-old Club Brugge goalkeeper Yann Sommer once again made a basic error, gifting the opponent a goal.

In the 15th minute of the first half, Sommer was intercepted while passing, but fortunately dealt with the opponent's subsequent cross. In the 19th minute, Sommer made a critical mistake: Royal Antwerp's Japanese forward Taishi Taguchi sent a long pass, and Sommer rushed out to clear but swiped at thin air, allowing the opponent to easily tap into an empty net to equalize.

Sommer made almost the exact same mistake in the Champions League midweek. Against Villarreal, Sommer misjudged his rush out, allowing Nicolas Jackson to tap into an empty net.

Sommer left Inter Milan in the summer transfer window, ending his 12-year tenure in Europe's top five leagues, and joined Club Brugge.
