According to Italian newspaper Il Giorno, Trabzonspor has contacted former AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli and hopes to bring him in as head coach. The Emilia-born coach is currently considering the offer and is open to coaching in Turkey.

Trabzonspor, who signed Mohamed Salah last summer, is currently searching for a new head coach. They previously approached Raffaele Palladino but were rejected. Pioli has been without a club since leaving Fiorentina in November 2024.
