Barcelona are monitoring Harry Kane's contract extension talks with Bayern Munich, according to talkSPORT.

Kane's current contract expires in the summer of 2027, and Bayern are hoping to extend his deal on long-term terms. While it remains expected that Kane will choose to stay at Bayern, Barcelona are already keeping tabs on his situation.
talkSPORT first reported Barcelona's interest in Kane back in June, when the club had already made initial contact with Kane's representatives about a potential move to Camp Nou.
As reigning La Liga champions, Barcelona view Kane as an alternative to their primary target Julián Álvarez, with Manchester City striker Erling Haaland also under consideration.
Barcelona are looking to strengthen their attack following Robert Lewandowski's departure to MLS side Chicago Fire this summer once his contract expires. Hansi Flick's squad currently lacks a world-class out-and-out striker and has primarily relied on forward and captain Raphinha to lead the line this season.
Gabriel Jesus and Anthony Gordon are also options being considered. Gordon operated as a striker for Newcastle last season, but Barcelona have consistently prioritized finding a direct replacement for Lewandowski.
