According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Serie A League assembly discussed issues including the venue for this season's Italian Super Cup and international TV rights, with the venue for the Internazionale vs. Lazio final still undetermined.

The Serie A League held a meeting that did not reach a final decision. The original plan included a meeting with Minister for Sport Andrea Abodi, but this meeting ultimately did not take place. Therefore, updates from Milan mainly concern some possible changes.

With approximately three months until the match, the venue for the Italian Super Cup final between Internazionale and Lazio remains undecided. Strictly speaking, this matter does not fall under the authority of the League assembly but is the responsibility of the League Council. All parties are currently awaiting bids from overseas venues in the coming days.

What is certain is that the match will not be held in Saudi Arabia; this was decided long ago. In recent days, the prospect of hosting the match in Morocco has also diminished. Other international candidate locations are under consideration, with the United States also being evaluated. Once concrete bids are received, the League will assess them. Otherwise, according to the rules, the match should be played at the home ground of the league champion, which is San Siro.

The meeting also briefly discussed the possibility of establishing a media company to manage international TV rights, with a minority stake of 10% to 20% to be subsequently sold to investment funds. League CEO Luigi De Siervo updated the clubs on progress, and representatives from JP Morgan, advisors in these negotiations, also participated remotely.

Potential participants include Bain, Oaktree Capital, Carlyle in partnership with Nextalia, General Atlantic, Avenue Capital, Partners Group, Blackstone, Bright Path, Clessidra, and FSI. Notably, Bain co-chairman Stephen Pagliuca is a major shareholder in Atalanta, and Oaktree Capital owns Internazionale.

Related bids have not yet been submitted to the clubs, as proposals are still being refined. The parties will conduct detailed studies by the end of the year before deciding how to proceed. A specific majority of at least 14 out of 20 clubs is required for a vote; unanimous approval is not necessary.
