After Spain's 1-0 victory over Uruguay, Llorente was interviewed by SportyTV.

First, congratulations on the victory and finishing top of the group. How does the team feel after achieving your objective in what was a difficult group?

Very happy. It's truly not easy to achieve the goals we set. The overall standard of this FIFA World Cup is very high, and every match is challenging. Today's match was no exception—partly due to Uruguay's strength and partly because they were also fighting for their own objectives. We managed the pressure, got the three points, and achieved our goal, so everyone is delighted.

The fans have given you tremendous support, and the Mexican fans made you feel like you were playing at home. How does that feel?

Yes, from the moment we arrived at the hotel, we felt this support. The atmosphere was also very evident on the pitch today. Although we are far from Spain, we can still feel the enthusiasm and affection of the fans, which is very touching. We're very grateful.

We understand Yamal hasn't yet fully recovered, and his playing time today was limited. How crucial is his recovery for the team, especially as opponents will become stronger in the knockout stages?

Yamal is incredibly important to us, there's no doubt about that. He's an excellent player who brings something different to the team. We really need him, and he's already made a significant contribution. In the upcoming matches, he will continue to help us, because he's a very good player and has already proven his quality.
