On June 27th, Senegal defeated Iraq 5-0, securing three points and a superior goal difference to qualify as one of the best third-placed teams. However, a Senegalese photographer denied a visa resorted to photographing the television screen in his hotel room to capture World Cup images.

Sidi-Tall, Senegal's official photographer, was denied a visa and could not travel to Canada to photograph the match against Iraq, forcing him to work from his hotel room.

The photographer posted on social media:

Even though I'm outside the stadium, my passion remains intact. 📸⚽️
