France coach Didier Deschamps briefly returned home after his mother's funeral and has since rejoined the team, leading training last night. There are no fitness concerns regarding Internazionale forward Thuram.

Deschamps rejoined the squad yesterday after returning to France last Friday to attend his mother Ginette's funeral. At the Boston city center hotel, he received a warm welcome from all players and staff before leading the team in training that evening.

Players who started against Norway completed only recovery training, while others did higher-intensity work. Saliba's condition is being monitored but is not a concern. He has long-standing back discomfort and was rested last Friday to ensure he remains in optimal condition for the upcoming match against Gyökeres's team.

There is also good news regarding Thuram: his calf issue is merely fatigue. The team will travel to New York today and hold pre-match training tomorrow afternoon at Melanie Lane Stadium, the same arrangement used before their first World Cup match against Senegal.
