Over a month ago, France coach Didier Deschamps announced the 26-man squad for the World Cup in Canada, the United States, and Mexico on TF1 news, and 23-year-old Camavinga was not selected. However, Camavinga did not waste time; he attended a four-day Harvard University course on entertainment, media, and sports business and received a certificate.

Currently, Camavinga is considered surplus to requirements at Real Madrid. The club has made it clear that they must complete a major sale before continuing to address José Mourinho's latest demands for squad reinforcements. Mourinho wants to bring in another center-back and a strong, versatile midfielder, and all signs point to Camavinga being available for departure.

Camavinga has not demonstrated the form he showed during the 2024 Champions League final in his past two seasons at Real Madrid. According to Transfermarkt data, his market value reached a personal high of €100 million then. Now, after these two seasons, his value has dropped by half to €50 million. More significantly, his recent poor form and a controversial red card in the Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich have led observers to believe he could be one of Real Madrid's summer departures. There have been no official offers for him yet, but numerous rumors suggest he may move to England, Italy, or France.

In England, several clubs are interested in signing Camavinga; in Italy, he has been linked with Inter Milan; and Paris Saint-Germain has long targeted him, even monitoring him since his time at Rennes. In any case, Real Madrid hopes to receive at least €60 million from Camavinga's sale, but ultimately everything depends on Mourinho's decision.
