According to football-italia, Milan's transfer targets are not limited to Portugal, with Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount becoming a new target.

Although Milan have been linked with several Portuguese internationals and players represented by super agent Mendes, the latest Italian reports suggest that Manchester United's Mount has been offered to the Rossoneri.

Following the end of the 2024-25 season, Milan terminated Allegri's contract, and the team is now managed by former Manchester United manager Amorim.

When the Serie A season concluded, Milan failed to qualify for the Champions League, which led to the immediate dismissal of sporting director Tare, technical director Geoffrey Moncada, and CEO Giorgio Furlani. However, Milan have since established a new senior management structure at San Siro, forming a new leadership team around Amorim, Director of Player Trading Hendrik Almstadt, and Director of Football Intelligence Bobby Gardner.

After the new management appointments were confirmed earlier this week, Milan's transfer window fully opened, securing a club-record deal for Paris Saint-Germain forward Gonçalo Ramos.

Reports on Sunday indicated that the Rossoneri have also reached an agreement in principle on personal terms with another Portuguese international, António Silva, who, like Ramos, is represented by Mendes.

However, according to Milanpress.it, Milan have recently been presented with a new transfer option: attacking midfielder Mount.

Amorim is very familiar with Mount from his time managing Manchester United, and Sunday's reports suggest that Mount believes he is not part of Carrick's plans at Old Trafford and may leave this summer.

Sunday's reports state that Mount has been "offered" to the Rossoneri, with Amorim approving the move, and the two clubs have "exchanged information." Milanpress.it reveals that Mount is valued at approximately €25 million.
