On June 28, Rodrygo posted a photo with Ronaldo on social media with the caption: "Every time it's the same feeling. My idol!!! 🐐 🫡"

In a video posted by Rodrygo, Ronaldo also inquired about his injury and encouraged him to be patient, saying that these experiences would make him stronger.
