England defeated Panama 2-0 in the group stage, advancing to the knockout round as group winners. After the match, Rashford spoke about teammate Bellingham's role in the team.

Rashford highly praised Bellingham's role in the interview. He stated that the young midfielder is not only technically excellent but, more importantly, has a significant impact on the team.

Rashford said: "I think Bellingham is a top player. He brings so much to the team. From the first time I saw him play, I could feel he was a special player. He has immense talent, and he always delivers."

He further added: "More importantly, he performs well both on and off the pitch. His biggest characteristic is his drive. He not only pushes himself but also motivates everyone around him. He is driving the England team forward, always wanting more."

"I'm very happy for him today. He scored, assisted, and played exceptionally well. We all know how important he is to this team. If we want to keep winning, we need him to continue performing like this."

Tuchel: The team is still in an ascending phase

Head coach Tuchel also summarized the team's performance. He believed England completely dominated Panama in creating chances and was the only team consistently posing a threat in the match.

Tuchel said: "We were the only team to create so many chances against Panama. Everyone did their job, and Bellingham was a very important part of that."

He also emphasized that the team still has room for improvement: "We still have many details to refine, especially with our more aggressive style of play. But the competition has entered the knockout stage, and we need to regroup our energy and continue improving. The more important the match, the better our performance will be."
