Former Japan international Yuji Nakazawa discussed Japan's upcoming match against Brazil on a TBS television program.

He reflected on representing Japan against Brazil in the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

"While it's not a simple comparison, the Brazil team we faced back then had Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, and Kaká—all top stars at the pinnacle of world football."

"Vinicius Jr. in the current Brazil team is indeed outstanding, but in terms of individual ability, perhaps not quite as good as those superstars from back then. However, in terms of overall team tactics, I think the current Brazil is stronger than the team we faced back then."

Host Takahiro Inoue then asked, "Tulio Tanaka previously commented that this is the weakest Brazil team he has ever seen. What do you think?"

Upon hearing this, Yuji Nakazawa responded with a wry smile: "Well, those words came from Tulio Tanaka."
