According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Matías Soulé may return to Juventus, with Roma open to selling and the player keen on a move back to Turin.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports a realistic possibility of Matías Soulé returning to Juventus. The Bianconeri continue to reshape their squad and, after resolving a €13 million capital gains issue due by June 30, will finalize transfer targets based on coach Thiago Motta's vision. Competition is intense on the right wing where Soulé operates, though Conceição and Zhegrova could both depart if suitable offers arrive. Zhegrova is unlikely to be retained, creating space for Soulé's potential return.

Juventus sold Soulé in 2024 for €25.6 million plus €4 million in performance bonuses, a move made to balance the books. Roma now seeks to recoup and profit from its investment. Al-Hilal offered €35 million plus €5 million in add-ons, but the 2003-born winger refuses a Saudi move. Stuttgart has also pursued him, not for the first time. Recent days have seen his agent recognize the player's desire to rejoin Juventus. In Turin, Soulé will no longer encounter Giuntoli, who originally excluded him from plans, but will reunite with figures from his youth development. He could also finally link up with coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who has long wanted to integrate him into the national team setup.

The financial details require further negotiation and could involve a player exchange: Gasperini might consider bringing in Koopmeiners, who has fallen out of favor at Juventus and wishes to rediscover his form from his Atalanta years. Should Soulé return to Turin, he would inject vitality and a sense of belonging into the attack while elevating the offensive line's overall quality. He is hopeful, and Juventus is seriously weighing the move. The Bianconeri may also spend less thanks to the 10% sell-on clause retained from his original departure.
