Ahead of the FIFA World Cup Round of 16 match against Norway, Jean-Diomande attended Côte d'Ivoire's press conference and was asked about his transfer rumors.

Previously, media reported that if he were to leave RB Leipzig, Jean-Diomande would only be willing to join Paris Saint-Germain, and he had even reportedly reached an agreement with the club on a five-year contract to be signed after the FIFA World Cup.

When asked about this, he said: "You're giving me insider information. I don't have internet—as I've said, I don't have social media or short video apps, precisely to avoid these things."

"As for discussions with clubs, my agent is handling that. I don't have any information, and I don't want to talk about it, not even with my agent, because playing in the FIFA World Cup is an opportunity."
