On June 30th, Newcastle United officially released an announcement regarding defender Livramento's injury.

Newcastle United's official announcement:

The club can confirm that Livramento has successfully undergone a minor operation. The defender was injured during the World Cup and is expected to return during pre-season. Everyone at the club wishes him a speedy recovery. (End of announcement)

Previously, Livramento was included in England's World Cup squad, but he withdrew from the list due to a calf injury during training, and Tuchel called up Trevoh Chalobah as a replacement.
