After Germany was eliminated in the round of 32 of the FIFA World Cup, Musiala updated social media today with his thoughts.

Musiala wrote on social media:

All of us had hoped for a better outcome in this tournament, far beyond what we achieved. Of course, the same goes for me. Even after several days, it's still hard for me to think about anything else, and hard to write these words.

We saw so many fans supporting us. The support in every stadium was incredible. Similarly, you supported us throughout Germany and many other places around the world. Disappointing all of you is perhaps what pains me the most.

Now, we must regroup, gather our strength, and learn from this defeat.

Thank you all very much for your continuous support, especially for the encouragement given to me over the past few days.
