July 2, – Stuttgart has officially extended the contract of 27-year-old defender Dayot Zagadou until June 30, 2027, adding one year to his current deal.

After an extended absence due to injury, Zagadou made his return during the 2025/26 season, making his Bundesliga comeback in Stuttgart's home match against Werder Bremen in the 31st round.
Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth said: "Zagadou is an integral part of our team, bringing excellent quality and strong character. He has worked tirelessly to overcome his injury and return to the pitch, making him a crucial defensive option for us. We look forward to building the future together."
Zagadou added: "I'm grateful for the trust Stuttgart has shown in me. Next season, I'm committed to delivering my best performances for the coaching staff, the club, and our fans. Let's achieve success together."
