On July 2, Como officially announced that the club has signed Cruzeiro left-back Kaiky on loan with a mandatory purchase option. According to previous reports by Romano, the total value of the deal is 15 million euros.

Como 1907 is delighted to announce that the club has reached an agreement with Cruzeiro Esporte Clube to sign Brazilian international Kaiky Bruno da Silva.

The 23-year-old left-back joins the team on loan with an obligation to buy, adding pace, intensity, and international experience to Cesc Fàbregas' squad.

Born in Betim, Brazil, Kaiky joined Cruzeiro's academy at a young age and made his senior professional debut in 2021. Since then, he has developed into one of the most promising young full-backs in Brazilian football, combining strong defensive ability with the pace and confidence to drive forward with the ball.

In the 2025/26 season, Kaiky played 32 matches for Cruzeiro, competing in the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana to gain experience in continental competitions.

His development has earned recognition from the Brazilian national team: Kaiky made his senior international debut in 2026 and previously represented Brazil at U20 and U23 levels. As a member of Brazil's U20 squad, he won the 2023 South American U20 Championship.

Head Coach Cesc Fàbregas said: "Kaiky is a modern full-back who is fast, energetic, and brave in attack. He is physically strong, capable of repeated sprints, tough in defensive duels, and provides width on the flanks in possession.
