After Germany was eliminated in the round of 32 of the FIFA World Cup, Germany midfielder Pavlovic updated his social media today with a statement.

Pavlovic wrote on social media:

Even after a few days, I still find it difficult to find the right words! The disappointment from that bitter exit still runs deep! Just like all of you! I'm so sorry that we let you down!

Nevertheless, I am still grateful for my first FIFA World Cup experience, but this premature exit is even more painful!

I still want to say thank you to everyone who gave us such great support - no matter the ups or downs, let's always stick together!

Hopefully, after a little more time, we can look forward positively again and give our all for the German national team together! Your Pavlovic
