On July 3, Schalke 04 officially announced that the club had extended its contract with midfielder Faouzi until 2030, with no buyout clause in the new contract.

The 23-year-old midfielder has made 36 appearances for Schalke 04, scoring 2 goals and providing 5 assists. His current market value on Transfermarkt is €9 million.

Faouzi said: "I feel very comfortable at Schalke 04, especially within the team. We have had thorough discussions about my future. Now I look forward to reuniting with my teammates and beginning preparations for my first Bundesliga season."
