According to L'Équipe, Paraguay defender Aldrete is doubtful for Saturday's round of 16 match against France after sustaining a knee injury during the group stage.

Aldrete will undergo tests Friday evening to determine his fitness for the clash with France. Paraguay coach Alfaro said: "We held high-intensity physical recovery training with Aldrete today. We will see how he feels and whether he can play. He really wants to play this match."
